It is commonly called particle board. This material is widely used in the furniture and building industry. It is made of specially treated wooden chips pressed together with an addition of resin. High pressure and temperature is used to press the chips making the board. In this way, you can make boards with various dimensions, thickness, specific weight and resistance parameters. The chips for the production are made of healthy, small-sized waste wood or wood that cannot be made into solid boards.
It is a medium-density board made of wooden fibres. It is made by joining pieces of wood and glue, formed into boards through heating and pressure. It is one of the basic elements used to make furniture. Due to ts advantages and technical parameters, it is perfect for processing, such as lacquering and placing artificial or natural veneer.
This is a very universal material for a wide range of applications, not only for making furniture fronts. MDF board is 18-mm thick and is laminated with high-gloss acrylic film, whose surface is protected with a protective film. The final thickness of the board after application of films is ca. 19 mm. The inner side of the board is covered with white melamine. The glossy effect gives the impression of a glass layer. The surface of the board is UV-resistant.
